Cook – College Dining Services

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our food service team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes, food safety standards, and quality guidelines. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in preparing high-quality food.

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, menus, and production requirements.
• Follow proper food preparation, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, chopping, and measuring.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Monitor food quality, temperature, freshness, and portion sizes.
• Properly store and label food and ingredients.
• Assist with inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Minimize food waste while maintaining quality and production standards.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and food service team members.
• Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned.
