Position Summary:

The Cook 2 prepares food for the Suite orders at Principal Park. This may include preparing items for buffet service and individual orders, Responsible for set-up, sanitation, cleaning and closing of workstation area.  Employees will work in an ever changing, fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event schedule based on the Iowa Cubs Baseball Schedule (March to May). Shifts include day, night, weekend and holiday hours.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $22.00 and is tip eligible.

 

Benefits as per the union agreement.

 

This position will remain open until June 5, 2026.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all ordered food for assigned suites, plating according to menu description, in accordance with company/State health and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper storage of all food, cleaning and sanitation products.
  • Maintains a positive employee relations climate.
  • Ensures compliance with health, sanitation, safety and employment regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen for the food and beverage operation.
Qualifications:
  • Must be age 18 or older.
  • Previous experience in food preparation.
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
