Chief Operating Officer (COO) Construction Company

Position Overview:
A well-established and growing construction company is seeking a high-level Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee all aspects of the business. This role will take full ownership of company operations across all divisions, including finance, estimating, project management, and field operations. The COO will work closely with ownership to drive performance, improve systems, and scale the company.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands construction inside and out and can manage both the big picture and day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all company divisions, including operations, finance, estimating, and field teams
- Lead hiring, firing, and overall team management across departments
- Implement and improve operational systems, processes, and workflows
- Manage budgeting, financial performance, and payroll oversight
- Ensure projects are running on time, on budget, and at high quality
- Supervise project managers, estimators, and field leadership
- Drive company growth, efficiency, and scalability
- Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively
- Work closely with ownership on strategy, planning, and expansion
Qualifications: A MUST
- Extensive experience in construction leadership (COO, Director, or similar)
- Strong understanding of construction operations, estimating, and field execution
- Proven track record managing multiple departments and large teams
- Experience overseeing financials, budgets, and payroll
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
