System One is assisting an established and growing Tulsa client with a search for a Controller. The Controller will work directly with the company president providing financial and operational information and recommendations. Competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial operations team and oversee daily accounting activities, month-end close and financial and operational reporting
  • Manage project costing process ensuring proper reporting of revenues, cost of sales, work-in-process, etc., by working with project managers and job supervisors. Help determine project profitability
  • Own budgeting & forecasting and cash flow planning providing insights to leadership and project teams
  • Ensure GAAP & tax compliance and serve as main liaison with CPAs, banks and bonding partners. Ensure proper internal controls are in place and being followed
Requirements:
  • BS in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years of accounting/finance experience, including supervisory and leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and able to communicate to non-financial people
  • Experience with job costing a plus
  • Proficient with Excel and comfortable with computer systems
  • Ability to review reports and identify anomalies, be curious
  • Respectful attitude and works well with people at all levels
Salary: $95 - $130K
