Controller Job in San Diego, CA

LHH is looking to fill a Direct Hire Controller Job in San Diego, CA. Qualified candidates will have minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. The Controller will report directly to the CFO. This is an opportunity paying between $120,000 to $145,000 annually, plus potential bonus.

Responsibilities of Controller:

• Preparation of monthly Profit and Loss statements and cost accounting reports.
• Coordination, Auditing, and Reconciliation of Inventories.
• Coordinated long-term planning, forecasting, and budget management.
• Analyze revenues, costs, and earnings compared to budgets and explain variances
• Manage accounting staff and report to Upper Management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five or more years of accounting and finance experience
• Proficient with ERP software (Peachtree / Sage is ideal)
• Strong Manufacturing industry experience
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely
• Ability to get along with others and to work well in a team environment
