Contracts Specialist Senior

Amentum is seeking a Contract Specialist Senior to support the Space Force Range Contract SFRC.Job DescriptionThe Contracts Specialist Senior will support the full lifecycle of contract administration for complex government and commercial programs. Responsibilities include negotiating terms and conditions ensuring compliance with FARDFARS requirements and supporting proposal development. This role requires strong knowledge of federal regulations cost analysis and risk mitigation strategies to ensure timely and compliant contract execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare review and negotiate contracts teaming agreements NDAs and other contractual documents.Ensure compliance with FAR DFARS and 2 CFR 200 requirements for federal contracts.Conduct contract price analysisSupport negotiations with partners and vendors on terms conditions and pricing.Support proposal efforts including risk assessment and contractor document collection.Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and ensure audit readiness.Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to align contract strategies with project objectives.Minimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Business Economics Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 8 years of contracting subcontracting andor procurement experience.Demonstrated expertise in FARDFARS compliance requirements.Proven track record managing complex procurement actions and negotiations.Must have or obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance within 60 days of hire which includes U.S. citizenship.Valid U.S. Drivers License.Experience with Space Force or DoD programs advanced Excel proficiency - preferred Compensation Details100000 - 105000 annually The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
