Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer contracts, grants and sponsored projects for the Florida Institute of Child Welfare (FICW) throughout the award cycle.
• Provide pre-award support, including proposal review, budget development, cost share preparation, subcontract initiation and grant submission assistance.
• Provide post-award administration, including budget monitoring, funding management, compliance oversight, project reporting and award closeout activities.
• Review grant proposals, contracts and award documents to ensure compliance with university, sponsor and regulatory requirements.
• Advise principal investigators (PI's), project directors and program staff on grant requirements, sponsor guidelines and sponsored project administration.
• Monitor project expenditures and commitments to ensure fiscal accountability and compliance with funding requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between the institute, sponsored research administration, research foundation, funding agencies and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and monitor contracts and grants records, tracking systems, deliverables and award documentation.
• Collaborate with institute leadership to develop, implement and improve policies, procedures and business processes related to contracts and grants administration.
• Research, analyze and communicate changes in regulations, sponsor requirements and university policies impacting sponsored projects.
• Support special projects, strategic initiatives and Institute activities as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree and one year experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years.)

This position requires successful completion of the eSPEAR Certification or ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of hire.

Anticipated Salary Range

Salary range to begin at $41,000-$55,000, commensurate with experience.
