Activities include: \u2022 Business development activities, including the development of alliance/channel/network partnerships. \u2022 Pricing research and strategy, including network cost/pricing, competitor analysis, etc. \u2022 Media planning, analytics, and strategy, including Return on Investment (ROI) evaluation and digital marketing analytics and strategy. \u2022 Medical product market analytics, including evaluating the economic value of products and therapies with clinical and quality of life outcomes data, along with market access and reimbursement strategies. \u2022 Brand licensing activities to expand brand presence within brand-approved quality standards. \u2022 E-commerce strategy, planning, and management, including merchant development and support.\n \nDescription \n \nJOB SUMMARY\n \nThis is a Sales support position responsible for providing direct support to all assigned Contracts and Bid Specialists. This position will support the Contracts and Bid Specialists in soliciting and maintaining bids and in the interpretation of all contractual requirements of the Master Distribution Agreement by maintaining contact with the customers (which include schools, casinos, cruise-lines, corrections, emergency camps, military/government and nonprofit), implementing and reviewing pricing agreements, and coordinating with the various departments within the Operating Company (OpCo).\n \nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n Support Contracts and Bid Specialists: Customer Inquiries (special orders, credits, transportation/truck, item issues, pick-up request), Manage outs, Monitor orders before cut-off, Tracking's, Manage Proprietary items (MUPA), Sysco 360 support.\n Order Guide creation/Chart maintenance, New Item Requests/Limited Time Offers request to merchandising, New account set-up.\n Manage and support activities: Order Guide Management, Inventory Reporting, etc.\n Business Development: Scheduling customer visits, Menu Reviews, New Items/Samples/Broker Visits, Market Analysis/Trends.\n Customer Onboarding/Training/Account Set-Up.\n \nQUALIFICATIONS\n \nEducation\n\n High school diploma or equivalent.\n \nExperience\n\n 1-year previous experience supporting an Account Executive (AE) in an AC/CSR role or foodservice equivalent.\n 1-2 years of prior outside foodservice sales experience preferred with a minimum of 6 months of sales, and/or chef ' restaurant management experience in a related field.\n \nProfessional Skills\n\n Sound judgment.\n Self-starter.\n Excellent computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office).\n Data entry.\n Multi-task.\n Ability to tactfully interact with coworkers/customers.\n* Meet deadlines.\n \nThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by associates within this classification.
