The Role

A contract manager II is responsible for managing right of way, pole attachment, and easement agreements for various projects to support the company’s fiber optic network across North America. The Contract Manager II works with private companies, landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders for the life-cycle management, remittance, and database management for the Forged Fiber 37 access rights agreements and comply with the applicable laws and regulations related to these access agreements.

Work Location: Hybrid Dallas, TX or Denver, CO

The Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, attorneys, and other team members to ensure the timely and accurate completion of right of way and pole attachment agreements.
  • Monitor and manage the status and performance of access agreements, including payments, renewals, amendments, terminations, and disputes.
  • Maintain and update the access management database and records, ensuring compliance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present reports and summaries of access management activities and issues to management and clients.
  • Create a document turnover package to ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures

Main Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree -Preferably in business, law, real estate, financial management or related field.
  • Or minimum of 4+ years of relevant job experience in contract management, right of ways, and pole attachments acquisition and management.  Preferably in telecom, outside plant design, construction, or network planning
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of pole attachments, right of way life-cycle management, including legal, regulatory, and environmental aspects.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and right of way software applications (LeaseNet).

 

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

 Location Based Pay Ranges:

$80,000-$120,000
