Adams and Martin Group is assisting its well-respected Sacramento law firm with a full‑time (40hrs/week) Contract Attorney role. This position will support senior associates and partners in the personal injury litigation practice throughout Northern California. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who is eager to build litigation experience, work directly with clients, and grow within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Position is in office 5 days/week. Only candidates that can meet this requirement will be considered.
This position may be considered contract-hire for the right candidate after evaluation of contract performance.
Position Responsibilities
Assist in managing and litigating personal injury cases from intake through resolution
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
Assist and prepare for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation events across Northern California
Contribute to case strategy and support the broader litigation team
Qualifications
Active California Bar license required (in good standing)
MUST reside in Sacramento, CA metro market (on-site 5 days/week; minimum 40hrs/week)
1-7 years of legal experience (new attorneys encouraged to apply)
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Self‑starter who enjoys working with the public and thrives in a team setting
Prior personal injury experience is preferred, but not required
