Responsibilities
Lead field operations to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents
Supervise field personnel, assistant superintendents, area superintendents, and trade contractors
Manage project quality control and coordinate inspections and testing
Monitor labor, material usage, productivity, and project costs
Develop, maintain, and drive CPM schedules and look ahead schedules
Implement and manage project safety, QA/QC, HazCom, and SWPPP programs
Review and approve trade contractor pay applications and material invoices
Assist with preconstruction planning, estimating, and project startup
Coordinate permits, inspections, site mobilization, and temporary utilities
Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and document revisions
Maintain daily reports and project documentation
Identify scope changes and coordinate resolution with project management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred OR equivalent field experience
Minimum 15 years of construction experience
Experience leading large, complex construction projects, preferably arenas or stadiums
Experience managing multiple assistant superintendents and field teams
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
Strong understanding of MEP systems
Experience with QA/QC programs
Ability to develop and manage CPM schedules
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings
Experience managing RFIs, change management, and scope control
