    Are you a Project Manager who enjoys leading multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout while working alongside development, construction, design, and field teams?

    A well-established South Florida Developer/Builder is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multifamily construction projects throughout South Florida.

    This is an opportunity to join a vertically integrated organization with nearly 30 years of experience developing and constructing multifamily communities. Projects range from garden-style and townhome communities to mid-rise and high-rise developments across affordable, workforce, and market-rate housing.

    The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordination, financial management, procurement, execution, and successful project delivery while working closely with construction leadership, Superintendents, development teams, consultants, and trade partners.

     

    YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

    • Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and turnover.
    • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and project reporting.
    • Oversee subcontractor bidding, selection, procurement, buyout, contracts, and change management.
    • Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, Superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication between development, construction, and field teams.
    • Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
    • Manage RFIs, submittals, permits, procurement, project documentation, and closeout.
    • Collaborate with field leadership to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and productivity.
    • Identify project risks, scheduling conflicts, and cost concerns before they impact project performance.
    • Maintain accountability for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to company standards.

     

    DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

    • 5+ years of construction Project Management experience with a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or Developer/Builder.
    • Proven experience managing multifamily construction projects.
    • Experience with garden-style, mid-rise, high-rise, townhome, affordable, workforce, and/or market-rate multifamily construction is valuable.
    • Strong understanding of preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contracts, cost control, and project financial management.
    • Ability to coordinate complex project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and field operations.
    • Strong knowledge of construction documents, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout procedures.
    • Proven ability to identify risks, solve problems, and maintain project momentum.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and relationship-management skills.
    • South Florida construction experience preferred.
