Job Description

Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather required project details.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive estimates.
Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals.
Monitor and update estimates based on project changes or new information.
Maintain a database of construction costs and pricing trends for reference.
Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
Support project managers in maintaining budgets and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor
Experience estimating warehouse, distribution center, tilt-wall, industrial, or large commercial projects
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and material pricing
Proficient with estimating software and quantity takeoff tools
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience managing multiple estimates simultaneously
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Experience on Amazon, industrial, logistics, fulfillment center, or large warehouse projects is highly desirable
