    Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Construction Contract Administrators to join our team. This is a hands-on position focused on construction contract administration, working closely with contractors, owners, principals, and project teams throughout the construction process.

    This is not a clerk's position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in the field, wearing a hard hat and boots, and working directly with contractors on active construction sites.


    Responsibilities & Qualifications


    • Manage and administer construction contracts throughout the construction process
    • Review and understand construction documents and contract requirements
    • Work directly with contractors, owners, and project teams
    • Monitor construction progress and help ensure projects are being executed according to contract documents
    • Apply knowledge of building codes, construction methods, materials, and assemblies
    • Review construction-related documentation and assist with project administration
    • Collaborate with principals and project teams to address construction issues
    • Help maintain the firm's standards and reputation throughout the construction process
    • Travel throughout the North Carolina and South Carolina region as needed
    • Work in active construction environments and meet the physical demands associated with construction site visits


    Required Qualifications


    • 15–25 years of professional experience in construction contract administration or a related architectural/construction role
    • Strong understanding of construction documents
    • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and assemblies
    • Understanding of Owner/Contractor agreements
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Ability and willingness to travel throughout North Carolina and South Carolina
    • Ability to work comfortably and safely on active construction sites


    Preferred Qualifications


    • CSI Certified Construction Contract Administrator
    • Experience with Revit
    • Experience with CAD
    • Experience with Bluebeam
