Compensation

$225,000 – $390,000+

A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Construction Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and other construction industry participants in sophisticated construction transactions and disputes.

Ideal Background

2–6 years of construction law experience

• Experience with construction litigation, construction transactions, or a combination of both preferred

• Experience drafting and negotiating construction agreements, including owner-contractor agreements, design agreements, subcontracts, and related project documentation

• Experience handling construction disputes involving delays, defects, payment disputes, mechanic's liens, or other project-related claims is a plus

• Experience representing owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, or other construction industry participants preferred

• Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

• Ability to work directly with clients and manage matters independently

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted
