We're looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to support our team in maintaining tenant compliance with HUD, Tax Credit, and Rural Development programs. Full-time with medical, dental and vision benefits! We offer benefits, 401k, paid time off, and paid holidays! Key Responsibilities: - Review and process tenant applications and certifications
- Calculate income and determine eligibility under program rules
- Maintain accurate tenant account ledgers and billing
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of HUD vouchers and USDA project worksheets
- Monitor and report compliance issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with property managers and area directors regarding tenant approvals and move-ins
- Prepare files for audits and agency reviews
Qualifications: - Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of HUD, Tax Credit, and Rural Development compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Prior experience with tenant certifications and compliance processes preferred
