Position: Compliance Specialist

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM (Full-Time)

Purpose of Position:

As a Compliance Specialist at West Shore Home, you will support the implementation of ongoing risk assessment processes by reviewing marketing materials, including consumer finance disclosures, to determine compliance with federal and state laws.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Review advertising and marketing materials for compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to FTC and FCC regulations and state consumer protection laws.
  • Actively investigate consumer finance inquiries raised by finance lenders and customers.
  • Assist the Compliance Manager and Director of Permitting with obtaining state licenses and keeping up to date with state licensing requirements, renewals, and expirations. Ensure licensing records have current documentation.
  • Develop and conduct trainings for In-Home Sales Representatives regarding consumer finance compliance.
  • Conduct audits, analyze information, identify deficiencies and non-compliance, develop reports, and formulate recommendations to executive team and departmental leaders for corrective action and training opportunities for sales personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred (in applicable field).
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and attracted to challenging opportunities within a rapidly growing business.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a compliance related field.
