Responsibilities:
This position serves as an extension of the Corporate Compliance program at assigned facilities; providing guidance and education to support the facilities' day to day operations. This position's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1) serve as a trusted resource to hospital leaders and staff at assigned facilities; 2) assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of Corporate Compliance policies; 3) supervise, participate and assist with compliance investigations; 4) participate in the provision of compliance and privacy education; and 5) complete assignments per the annual Compliance Work Plan.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university Required
The ideal candidate has a post-graduate degree in health policy or healthcare compliance Preferred
Work Experience
5 years in progressively responsible corporate compliance roles within the healthcare industry. Experience may include case management, care coordination or other healthcare roles that require knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations Required
Licenses and Certifications
CHC - Certified Healthcare Compliance Upon Hire Required or
Healthcare Compliance Officer (CPCO)-AAPC Upon Hire Required
