Job Description

The Compliance Manager plays a vital role in supporting Allstate's Accident and Health business by delivering practical, business‑focused compliance guidance. This position is responsible for evaluating new laws, coordinating compliance projects, and ensuring the organization understands and meets all regulatory expectations.

In this role, you will assess processes, identify potential risks, and help implement the controls needed to maintain strong compliance across the business. You will partner closely with leaders and teams to ensure that regulatory requirements are clearly understood, effectively managed, and consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise‑wide compliance processes, including evaluating new laws and determining how they impact the business.
  • Apply governance standards to help the organization avoid risk while identifying opportunities to strengthen compliance practices.
  • Support the overall compliance vision and operating model, ensuring it aligns with business goals and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain effective training for employees, senior leaders, and other key partners to ensure a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide practical compliance guidance and advice to business areas across the organization on complex or enterprise‑level issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the compliance program by monitoring legal and regulatory changes, updating policies and procedures, and assessing emerging risks.
  • Build strong, strategic partnerships with business teams to identify best practices, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain close collaboration with compliance teams across related entities, including those supporting investments, financial reporting, and subsidiary operations.
  • Review and analyze new federal and state laws, regulations, guidelines, and standards to determine their impact on business processes and communicate required changes.
  • Apply experience working with Medicare regulations and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act to ensure compliance requirements are fully understood and effectively implemented.

Technology Requirements

  • Allstate provides a full technology setup including laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard and mouse.

  • Employees working from home receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement.

  • A dedicated, private workspace is required.

  • Reliable internet is required with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $98,100 -$150,500 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

  • Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
