In-house exposure at a technology, industrial, or energy company is preferredDomain Expertise: Solid foundational knowledge in Export Controls, FCPA/Anti-Bribery, or Technology/Commercial ComplianceAI/ML Fluency: Familiarity with legal and ethical considerations surrounding AI technologies, including bias, data provenance, and transparencyCommunication: Strong ability to translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders(Desirable) Relevant professional certifications such as CCEP, CAMS, or CIPP(Desirable) Experience with or exposure to GRC/ERM software platforms(Desirable) Experience in the technology, energy, or industrial infrastructure sectorsWhat the job involvesCrusoe is seeking a skilled and motivated attorney to join as Compliance Counsel, Risk and Compliance in the Legal DepartmentThis role is integral to the continued development and day-to-day execution of Crusoe's global compliance program as we grow and expand internationallyReporting to the Global Risk & Compliance Officer, you will support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operation of our compliance infrastructure across key risk areasYou will also contribute to our evolving approach to the compliance landscape of artificial intelligenceThe ideal candidate is a detail-oriented legal professional who can translate regulatory requirements into practical, business-friendly guidance at the intersection of AI, energy, and global commerceProgram Enhancement & Strategy: Support the continuous improvement of our enterprise‑wide ethics and compliance program. Assist with the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and GRC platformsGovernance & Reporting: Help maintain corporate policies and contribute to compliance reporting for leadership and the Board of Directors.
