    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to the compliance department. This position will assist with maintaining compliance records, monitoring documentation, preparing reports, tracking deadlines, and ensuring required information is accurate and up to date.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide daily administrative support to the compliance department
    • Maintain organized electronic and physical compliance files and records
    • Collect, review, organize, and maintain compliance-related documentation
    • Track licenses, certifications, permits, renewals, and other required documentation
    • Monitor compliance deadlines and follow up on outstanding items
    • Assist with preparing compliance reports, spreadsheets, forms, and correspondence
    • Enter and update compliance information accurately in company databases and tracking systems
    • Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and missing information
    • Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews by gathering requested documentation
    • Communicate with employees, vendors, customers, and other departments regarding compliance documentation
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information
    • Assist with preparing materials for inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews
    • Track corrective actions and follow up on outstanding items as directed
    • Maintain calendars, schedules, and compliance tracking logs
    • Assist with updating policies, procedures, forms, and other compliance materials
    • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Previous administrative, clerical, compliance, or office experience preferred
    • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information
    • Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience with compliance, regulatory documentation, audits, or recordkeeping is a plus
