Job Summary
Under general supervision, assists in planning, organizing, directing, investigating and assessing contract compliance. Provides assistance in performing project steps and procedures to establish and maintain contract and/or grant compliance by both the City and the contractor or grantor. Assist in verification of compliance with Contract/Grant Administration Plans. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment with occasional outside working conditions. This position
requires work schedule flexibility as required to perform compliance monitoring.
This position is a "grant funded" position, therefore unclassified and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason.

Preferred Qualifications
One year of increasingly responsible experience with Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) grants.
One year of increasingly responsible experience with policies, guidelines, and 2 CFR 200 - Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, and how it relates to the acceptance and use of Federal CDBG and HOME funds.
Prior experience with any of the following: project management, grant management, or community development applicant information.
