We are seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to lead the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that support organizational growth and ensure competitive, equitable pay practices.
This role will partner closely with Human Resources leadership, Finance, and business leaders to design and manage compensation strategies that align with business objectives. The Compensation Manager will play a key role in maintaining compensation structures, supporting compensation planning cycles, and providing data-driven insights to guide pay decisions across the organization.
This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership while managing multiple compensation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage salary structures, compensation frameworks, and incentive programs.
Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure pay practices remain competitive.
Maintain and update job architecture, salary bands, and job grading structures.
Partner with leadership on hiring decisions, promotions, salary adjustments, and workforce planning.
Lead annual merit and incentive planning cycles, including compensation reviews and analysis.
Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations, pay equity requirements, and compensation-related policies.
Develop and deliver compensation reporting and analytics to support leadership decision-making.
Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and compensation cost modeling.
Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
7–10 years of progressive compensation experience.
Experience supporting compensation programs within the energy or related industries preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
Experience developing or enhancing compensation structures and programs.
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $130,000 – $160,000
Annual Bonus: 10–15% target
