Communications Coordinator I

Assist with planning, staffing, logistics and talent and media relations for press events, press days, premiere screenings, festivals, awards show carpets, etc. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Our Client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Communications Coordinator I for their New York, NY/Hybrid, NY location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Help create and manage show asset needs including photos, clips, loglines, synopses, etc.
• Track and process invoices and manage the Docs team budget
• Draft press materials including press releases and media alerts.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for talent.
• Coordinate glam services for talent.
• Assist with planning, staffing, logistics and talent and media relations for press events, press days, premiere screenings, festivals, awards show carpets, etc.
• Participate in department brainstorms and PR department meetings.
• Maintain and update various department and team calendars with ongoing publicity activities.
• Compile show campaign coverage reports.

 
Requirements:

• Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
• 1+ years; Organization skills and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
• Experience working in entertainment publicity, with an understanding of the entertainment press, trends, and social media.
• 1+ years. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
• 1+ years; Ability to communicate with high-profile individuals (actors, producers, press, etc.).
• Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
• Familiarity with Social Media Platforms.
• Soft Skills:
