This role supports the Public Safety Awareness department by scheduling safety presentations for schools and community events, maintaining event logs and program metrics, and recording customer survey results. JOB SUMMARY
 

• This role supports the Public Safety Awareness department by scheduling safety presentations for schools and community events, maintaining event logs and program metrics, and recording customer survey results.
• Additional responsibilities include preparing and mailing materials and serving as a backup presenter for virtual student presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS
 

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, education, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.

 

Primary duties include:
 

• Coordinate and schedule safety presentations and events
• Maintain event logs and track program metrics
• Deliver virtual presentations to students (back-up presenter)
• Packing and mailing out material (some light lifting required)
• Create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations 

Required skills include:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, education, or marketing or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and customer service skills 
• Experience delivering virtual presentations
• 5-10 years experience
• Comfortable in using various virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet)
• Dependable and reliable in all job functions
• Proactive and demonstrated ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision
• Able to quickly learn and apply new creative trends, tools, and styles
• Team Player 

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
