Commodity Manager- Resins

In this pivotal role, you will steer the strategic procurement of raw and non-production materials, ensuring our supply chain's reliability and cost-effectiveness aligns with our business goals. The perfect fit will bring a wealth of experience from the plastics sector, particularly within resins, TiO, carbon black, and chemical additives. Collaborating cross-functionally, the position supports Procurement, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and other departments to enhance supplier performance, achieve cost efficiencies, and elevate supply chain prowess. Key duties include overseeing procurement strategies for our U.S. facilities, maintaining comprehensive purchase records, and analyzing market dynamics. You will lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and relationship-building, while developing strategic initiatives to optimize material sourcing and supply continuity. This role also involves supporting budget planning, conducting cost forecast analyses, and driving performance improvements. Your expertise in supplier relations, combined with strong analytical and organizational capabilities, will be crucial in this role. A bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and over 5 years of procurement experience, particularly in plastics or chemicals, is highly desired.
