Core Duties:
- Oversee procurement processes for sites across the United States.
- Keep meticulous records of purchase transactions, vendor details, and contractual terms.
- Analyze market trends to discern cost-related shifts and technological advancements.
- Direct supplier evaluations, bid processes, and comprehensive cost assessments.
- Foster enduring relationships with vendors through regular evaluations and audits.
- Innovate and implement commodity strategies to leverage purchasing power.
- Participate in budget setting, cost projection, and performance enhancement initiatives.
- Guide negotiation endeavors, host cost-saving sessions, and manage corrective initiatives.
- Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams to minimize supply vulnerabilities and enhance vendor reliability.
Skillset & Expertise:
- Profound understanding of plastics and chemical procurement.
- Mastery in strategic sourcing and nurturing supplier partnerships.
- Familiarity with the intricacies of global supply chains.

Educational & Professional Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Chemistry, or aligned fields (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years in procurement; a strong background in plastics or the chemical industry is highly preferred.
