Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Three years of advanced clerical or public contact experience are required. Completion of coursework may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Recruitment Notes
The position is responsible for advanced clerical work for the Clerk of the Boards office, providing essential administrative support and maintaining official records for Miami-Dade County; processing and maintaining official county documents, handling financial transactions, and supporting various administrative functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attest to signature authorization on official county documents.
Maintain and Organize official documentation.
Process financial transactions as a cashier.
Prepare various permits including racing, Palmistry, and Occult Sciences permits.
Support the preparation and advertising of legal notices.
Maintain the Boards annual BCC meeting calendar.
Update the Countys Calendar.
Coordinate the recording of Special taxing districts and road closing items.
Provide backup support for others, ensuring operational continuity within the office.

Knowledge of clerical procedures and records management.

Proficiency in processing and maintaining official documents.
Ability to handle financial transactions accurately.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is primarily office-based with extended time at a computer. May involve light lifting (up to 10 lbs).
