JOB SUMMARY
The Plumbing Account Manager is responsible for developing new business and maintaining client relationships focused on plumbing systems and services. This role requires technical knowledge combined with strong sales and customer service skills to promote McKenney’s plumbing solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all functions needed to maintain a customer account, including sales, correspondence, customer relations, project supervision, scheduling, drawing review, and estimation.
Identify and qualify prospective clients in commercial, healthcare, data center, and higher education markets.
Present plumbing products and service solutions emphasizing efficiency and innovation.
Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs.
Maintain CRM records and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Collaborate to develop customized solutions.
Post-sale follow-up to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
3 years of sales experience in plumbing or mechanical contracting.
5 years of commercial plumbing experience.
Proficiency with CRM and sales software.
Technical understanding of commercial plumbing systems and related products.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail.
