ABOUT THE ROLE
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all stages of complex litigation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on experience supporting discovery, court filings, e-discovery, and trial preparation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support attorneys throughout all stages of commercial litigation matters.
Prepare, organize, and electronically file legal documents with state and federal courts.
Create and maintain organized case files, calendars, databases, and litigation records.
Manage deadlines and track case activity to ensure timely completion of critical tasks.
Review, proofread, Bates label, organize, and prepare documents for discovery, pleadings, and motions.
Conduct factual research and assist with case investigations.
Coordinate subpoenas and third-party records requests and retrieval.
Draft correspondence, memoranda, and other materials at the direction of attorneys.
Support e-discovery activities, including collection, review, and production of electronically stored information.
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, evidence organization, witness coordination, and trial logistics.
Accurately record billable time and provide sufficiently detailed descriptions in the firm's billing system.
