Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our team and handle sophisticated business disputes from inception through resolution. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of substantial matters, collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients, and contribute to litigation strategy in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle
• Draft and argue substantive motions and other pleadings
• Conduct legal research and prepare litigation strategy recommendations
• Manage written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and negotiations
• Work directly with clients to provide updates, evaluate risk, and develop case strategies
• Coordinate with internal teams and outside experts as needed
• Support trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings when required
Qualifications
- Significant experience handling complex business or commercial disputes
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
• Experience drafting dispositive motions and managing substantial discovery matters
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Experience taking a lead role on litigation matters preferred
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing with at least one state bar
• 5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment
• Experience handling complex commercial, business, or high-stakes civil litigation matters
• Strong academic credentials preferred
• Ability to manage cases with limited supervision and exercise sound professional judgment
