Job Details

The Role: The attorney will work with an experienced litigation team representing businesses in sophisticated disputes, including:

• Complex commercial and business litigation
• Breach of contract and business disputes
• Commercial real estate and construction litigation
• Banking, lending and creditors’ rights matters
• Employment and restrictive covenant disputes
• Other complex disputes in state and federal court

What We’re Looking For:

• Approximately 4–7 years of commercial litigation experience
• Active Illinois Bar admission
• Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills
• Experience with substantive motion practice, discovery and depositions
• Ability to independently manage matters while working collaboratively with partners and clients
• Trial, arbitration or hearing experience is a plus
• Interest in business development and building a long-term practice is strongly encouraged
