About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing independent insurance agency. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building operational excellence while supporting both clients and team members.

The Account Executive will play a key role in managing large commercial accounts, supporting carrier relationships, mentoring account managers, and helping scale internal operations as the agency continues to grow.

While this is a remote position, candidates must be located in the Dallas or East Texas region and able to travel to Tyler, TX regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and market mid-to-large commercial insurance accounts
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with carrier partners
  • Prepare and review clean, accurate submissions for underwriting
  • Support and mentor newer Account Managers
  • Assist with agency operations and workflow efficiencies
  • Oversee aspects of agency accounting and track new business activity
  • Coordinate marketing efforts for larger commercial accounts ($75K+ revenue accounts)
  • Collaborate with leadership on team growth and operational improvements
  • Participate in future hiring, interviewing, and onboarding initiatives
Preferred Industry Experience

  • Will highly consider generalists as well
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial coverages and account management
  • Experience with AMS360 preferred
  • Proven ability to manage carrier relationships and large commercial accounts
  • Operationally minded with strong organizational skills
  • Leadership mentality with a willingness to coach and support junior team members
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Location Requirement

This is a remote role; however, candidates must reside in the Dallas / East Texas region and be within approximately 2 hours of Tyler, TX for periodic in-person meetings and collaboration.
