Delaware County Supply is a family-owned leader in architectural building materials, proudly serving the Tri-State area for more than 100 years. We're seeking an experienced Commercial Door & Hardware Operations Manager to lead our well-established Hollow Metal Door & Hardware Department. 

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone with deep experience in commercial hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural hardware who wants to make a direct impact on department performance, customer satisfaction, and future growth.

What You'll Do 

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Hollow Metal Door & Hardware Department 

Oversee commercial bidding, estimates, quotations, and project workflows 

Review architectural drawings, specifications, door schedules, and hardware schedules 

Manage purchasing, material ordering, and supplier relationships 

Coordinate commercial projects from award through completion 

Monitor budgets, schedules, deliveries, and change orders 

Provide technical expertise on commercial doors, frames, and hardware applications 

Work directly with contractors, architects, vendors, and customers 

Collaborate with our custom hollow metal shop to ensure efficient production workflow, quality standards, scheduling, and on-time delivery 

Train, mentor, and support team members while sharing industry knowledge 

Improve processes, efficiency, and overall department performance 

Ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and profitably 

What You Bring 

Extensive experience with commercial hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural hardware 

Experience reviewing commercial construction documents, drawings, specifications, and hardware schedules 

Strong knowledge of Division 8 products and applications 

Experience with bidding, estimating, project coordination, purchasing, and material management 

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously 

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills 

Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and project outcomes 

Desire to lead by example and remain actively involved in department operations 

Important 

Direct commercial hollow metal door, frame, and architectural hardware experience is required. 

This position is not intended for candidates whose experience is limited to residential doors, general construction, or unrelated building products.
