Under general supervision, the building cleaner performs cleaning tasks and operates various types of cleaning equipment for assigned buildings.
Duties
- Arrive on time and ready to perform all assigned shift duties.
- Clean offices and work areas, including emptying trash, replacing liners, and cleaning windows and windowsills.
- Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop floors and stairs.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and ensure they are properly stocked with necessary supplies.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked janitorial closets.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, supply needs, or concerns to the supervisor.
Schedule: Monday - Saturday 8:30 AM- 5:30 PM
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and successfully pass a background check.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus.
- Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive cleaning motions.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
