Title: Commercial Claims Manager

Location: Denver, Colorado (Hybrid 3-2)

Summary:

One of the top tier insurance carriers is looking to bring on an experienced Claims Manager to their Denver office. You will maintain profitable procedures & processes while managing adjusters focused on Commercial Liability claims. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with commercial lines claims, and have managed a team of adjusters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee team operations, ensuring claims work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within expected timelines
• Coach, develop, and evaluate staff through training, feedback, and performance management while assigning and prioritizing workloads
• Analyze policy language and contractual agreements to determine coverage, liability, and potential risk transfer opportunities
• Direct the end-to-end claims process, including investigations, reserving, documentation, and negotiating settlements with all stakeholders
• Partner with leadership to manage staffing, support administrative functions, and oversee third-party vendors such as independent adjusters

Qualifications:

• 5+ years handling multi-line commercial claims; leadership experience preferred
• Strong skills in coverage analysis, liability assessment, and negotiations
• Knowledge of contractual risk transfer
• Clear, professional communication internally and externally
• Organized, self-directed, and able to meet deadlines consistently
