Key Responsibilities of the Collections Analyst



  • Analyze employer payment uploads, rosters, authorization records, and reconciliation data to identify missing or short-paid amounts.

  • Research payment anomalies and coordinate with employers and account analysts to recover outstanding revenue.

  • Review applicable collective bargaining agreements to verify that employer payments reflect the correct rates.

  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for executive leadership and management.

  • Identify patterns across all employer accounts and recommend solutions to improve collection accuracy.


Qualifications



  • At least 3 years of collections or accounts receivable experience, with responsibility for researching payment issues.

  • Analytical experience with reconciliations, anomaly identification, or payment variance analysis.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Pivot, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.


Schedule



  • On-site, full-time; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Midtown Manhattan

  • Occasional additional hours and participation in organizational events may be required
