Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute cold line items including salads, appetizers, charcuterie, and cold plates to menu specifications
• Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and plating standards during service
• Perform proper mise en place setup and breakdown of the cold station before and after each shift
• Ensure all cold food items are stored, labeled, and rotated in compliance with food safety guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth, efficient service during high-volume periods
• Monitor and maintain proper temperature control for cold storage and prep areas
• Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs to kitchen leadership

Requirements:

•  Bilingual : English and Spanish.
•  Sushi experience a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a line cook, cold line cook, or prep cook in a restaurant environment
• Solid understanding of cold food preparation techniques and plating presentation
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and HACCP guidelines
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen setting
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to consistency and quality
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
• Food Handler Certification or ServSafe certification preferred
