RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a Master degree in human services AND 1 year experience working with people with serious mental illness diagnoses OR Bachelor degree in human services AND 3 years of experience working with people with serious mental illness diagnoses

  • Must pass a bi-annual physical

  • Pre-employment drug testing

  • Must have a valid PA driver's license and be able to drive an organization automobile/15-passenger van

  • Must have Act 33/34/73 Clearances upon hire

SCHEDULE

  • Saturday and Sunday 4pm-midnight

ABOUT THE ROLE: Our Non-Licensed Clinician provides recovery-oriented support to individuals with Serious Mental Illness transitioning from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization to our program before reintegrating back to community living situations. We're looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. The Extended Acute Care is a licensed, 16-bed temporary residential treatment program located in Glen Hazel .

ABOUT YOU: We're looking for employees who are professional, flexible, compassionate, and can remain composed in stressful situations. In any given day you will facilitate various groups, provide limited transportation of residents to community settings, interact with family members, and have good computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
