Job Description

Clinical Sales Training Specialist, SH

As the Clinical Sales Training Specialist for Structural Heart (SH), you will be responsible for developing all Clinical Sales Training programs and delivering sales training material to the field sales force. This will include product and procedural knowledge, competitive product analysis and differentiation, sales force effectiveness for sales processes, continuing training and development of tenured sales personnel, and onboarding of new personnel.

Your role:

  • Design and lead comprehensive, objective-driven clinical sales training programs that include overall strategy, processes, and supporting collateral. Oversee both in-house and field-based training delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and consistent execution across the organization.
  • Develop and manage the training curriculum and associated budget in partnership with the Sr. Manager of Clinical Sales Training, functional leadership, and Medical Education. Ensure financial discipline while maintaining high-quality program delivery and scalability.
  • Create, implement, and continuously refine sales training tools, processes, and records, incorporating industry best practices from the coronary, endovascular, and imaging spaces. Maintain up-to-date, effective training infrastructure that supports evolving commercial needs.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness across performance, budget, and process metrics, and translate insights into actionable improvements. Use data-driven analysis to enhance program impact, optimize delivery methods, and ensure measurable outcomes for the sales organization.
  • Lead end-to-end training for new product launches, including strategy development, agenda setting, workshop design, and content delivery via both in-person and remote formats. Facilitate training sessions and collaborate closely with Marketing to align sales strategies with product success in the market.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and continuous capability building, including vendor management, LMS-enabled remote learning, and adult learning-based curriculum design. Support broader organizational training needs (e.g., Marketing, Clinical, Corporate), develop gap assessment tools, and ensure all programs meet legal and regulatory compliance requirements.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 5+ years' experience in medical education, clinical or in a sales position.
  • Your skills include deep expertise in echocardiography and/or structural heart imaging, including intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), 3D imaging, and procedural guidance. Experience supporting structural heart procedures such as LAAO, TTVR, TEER, and electrophysiology interventions such as AF ablation and left atrial appendage workflows. Proven experience developing sales/commercial education training programs and clinical marketing assets.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred in a clinical, marketing, scientific, business, or related field. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or equivalent echocardiography credential, required.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're able to travel up to 50% of the time.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This is a field role.
