Summary of Position:
The Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences (MCNHS) Clinical Placement Specialist works with all aspects of placing students in clinical learning experiences for all programs in the college but primarily for the Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing (ABSN), and the RN-BS option. The staff member will work directly with all assigned MCNHS program directors and program assistants in assessing, planning, and implementing students clinical placements. The incumbent will assist in finding and sustaining internship placements and clinical experiences for students, as well as negotiating and executing working agreements with agencies in collaboration with our agreements specialist and will report directly to the Lead Clinical Coordinator for the Department of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required, Master's degree preferred. An additional one-three years of work experience in health care or closely related field is required.
Ability to analyze data and other information utilizing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases;
Ability to access and enter data from information management systems and student information systems accurately;
Ability to verify unencumbered nursing license needed for clinical placement;
Ability to understand the various requirements of licensure for various online nursing programs;
Ability to work in a highly collaborative setting;
Ability to work with diverse constituencies;
Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time;
Ability to prepare written reports, correspondence and recommendations;
Ability to work independently and efficiently;
