    About the Role

    Essential HealthCare Solutions, LLC is seeking a senior Registered Nurse to serve as Clinical Lead / Clinical Supervisor for the LCEC hurricane employee-sheltering program. You are the clinical authority for the account — owning clinical quality, scope-of-practice discipline, standing nursing protocols, and the emergency-escalation chain across all three North Fort Myers shelter sites.

    Between activations you keep the clinical program ready; during activations you supervise the Charge RNs and deployed clinical staff.

    What You'll Do

    • Own clinical quality and patient-safety standards across all shelter sites
    • Maintain standing nursing protocols and the clinical scope-of-practice framework consistent with Florida licensure and the SOW
    • Supervise the Lead/Charge RNs and the broader deployed clinical staff during activations
    • Own the emergency-escalation and medical-oversight arrangements (including behavioral-health / stress-indicator monitoring)
    • Review clinical documentation for quality and completeness; support the after-action report
    • Partner with the Staffing / Deployment Coordinator on clinical roster readiness and credential adequacy
    • Serve as the senior clinical point of contact for LCEC leadership during activations
    • Support onboarding, clinical orientation, and competency validation of roster nurses

      What You'll Bring

    • Active, unencumbered Florida RN license (or NLC privilege valid in Florida); APRN a plus — required
    • Current BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred
    • Nursing leadership / supervisory experience (charge, DON, house-supervisor, or clinical-lead roles)
    • Emergency, disaster, or field-medical experience strongly preferred
    • ICS/FEMA (NIMS) training preferred (IS-100/200/700/800)
    • Strong judgment, protocol discipline, and the ability to lead clinicians in austere conditions

      Schedule & Conditions

      Key-personnel role with year-round readiness responsibilities and activation-based clinical supervision. During activations, supports 24/7 coverage and is reachable throughout the operational period. Upon activation, you acknowledge the assignment within one (1) hour and confirm availability, roster placement, estimated deployment time, and emergency-contact information.
