      • JOB SUMMARY
        • The Medical Assistant is responsible for administering nursing care to patients via the nursing process; assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The Medical Assistant also instructs patients and significant others in health care practices, working in collaboration with other health team members.
      • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
        • Professional & Technical Skills
          • Professional & Technical Skills - Experience gained through an approved Technical School plus an appropriate period of clinical orientation to the assigned patient care area and to personnel.
        • Education
          • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
        • License(s) or Certification(s)
          • Must possess a current certificate as a Medical Assistant within 90 days of hire.
        • Other Skills or Requirements
          • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
