Position Overview
The Clinic Administrative Director will lead the administrative and operational functions of employed and contracted provider practices throughout the Kaua‘i region, supporting efficient clinic operations, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient services.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Oversee daily operations and administrative functions across regional provider practices.
  
• 
  Develop and implement strategic business plans, operational initiatives, and performance improvement strategies.
  
• 
  Manage provider contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, corporate policies, procurement requirements, and Stark Law.
  
• 
  Monitor provider productivity, monthly production reports, billing, reimbursements, and financial performance.
  
• 
  Assist with annual budgeting, financial planning, staffing analysis, and resource allocation.
  
• 
  Collaborate with executive leadership and medical officers to improve clinic efficiency and patient care outcomes.
  
• 
  Establish performance benchmarks and implement process improvements across specialties.
  
• 
  Support provider recruitment, selection, placement, credentialing, and contract administration.
  
• 
  Develop policies and procedures that promote operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
  
• 
  Build strong working relationships with providers, hospital leadership, employees, patients, and community stakeholders.
  

Qualifications

• 
  Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
  
• 
  Master's degree in Public Health, Hospital Administration, or an equivalent field preferred.
  
• 
  Experience in healthcare administration, multispecialty provider practices, or provider contract management strongly preferred.
  
• 
  Knowledge of healthcare regulations, provider contracting, procurement, compliance, and financial management.
  
• 
  Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• 
  Ability to manage complex operational issues and work independently with sound judgment.
  
• 
  Must obtain Certified Director in Provider Practice Management certification within three years of employment.
  
• 
  Valid Hawaii Type 3 driver's license preferred.
