A well-established law firm is seeking a Client Accounts Coordinator to join its Accounting team in Dallas. This role supports a specialized practice area and is responsible for managing the financial lifecycle of client accounts, including billing, collections, and account reconciliation.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience in legal billing and/or collections, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with attorneys and internal teams. This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of in-office and remote work based on departmental scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle billing and collections, including complex and split-party billing
  • Review and verify legal fees, costs, and expenses for accuracy
  • Monitor accounts receivable and aging reports, and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys and paralegals
  • Process write-offs, retainer applications, and account adjustments
  • Generate financial reports and assist with account analysis
  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and firm policies
Qualifications
  • 2–3+ years of experience in legal billing and/or high-volume collections
  • Experience in a law firm or real estate/HOA environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Elite 3E, Aderant, or similar billing systems preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with e-billing (LEDES formats)
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
