    What you'll do:

    • Design construction plans, contract documents, quantity takeoffs, and opinions of probable construction cost for stormwater capital-improvement projects
    • Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water-quality analyses for open-channel and closed-conduit stormwater systems
    • Design site-specific best management practices, including conventional, low-impact-development, and stormwater volume-control solutions
    • Prepare permit applications and supporting documentation for regulatory approval
    • Develop one- and two-dimensional hydrologic and hydraulic models, FEMA CLOMR/LOMR applications, technical exhibits, and drainage reports
    • Apply Autodesk Civil 3D and water-resources modeling software to prepare and refine designs
    • Coordinate with clients, project managers, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery
    • Manage project tasks to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations

    What you bring:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering
    • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain (PE path strongly preferred)
    • 3–5 years of experience in water resources engineering, including hydrologic and hydraulic design and analysis
    • Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, stormwater design, and water-quality analysis
    • Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D
    • Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, XPSWMM, and ArcGIS preferred
    • Experience with two-dimensional hydraulic modeling is a plus
    • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
    • Client-service mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

    On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
