Description
Primary Responsibilities
Assist Design Engineer and Design Team in the design of runways, taxiways, aprons, and other airfield facilities. Work typically involves grading, paving, drainage and other civil engineering related work.
Provide assistance with planning documents, construction cost estimates, and perform computer aided design.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports, calculations, project drawings, details & specifications. Assist in review of construction shop drawings and construction site visits.
Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned with growing levels of responsibility.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
0-4 years of experience with good background in civil engineering principles
Growing proficiency with AutoCAD
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Produce organized, accurate and professional work products
Ability to work independently and in small groups
Ability to manage, prioritize and meet schedule requirements for multiple projects/tasks
