Civil Engineer

 Primary Responsibilities

• Assist Design Engineer and Design Team in the design of runways, taxiways, aprons, and other airfield facilities. Work typically involves grading, paving, drainage and other civil engineering related work.
• Provide assistance with planning documents, construction cost estimates, and perform computer aided design.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, calculations, project drawings, details & specifications. Assist in review of construction shop drawings and construction site visits.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned with growing levels of responsibility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• 0-4 years of experience with good background in civil engineering principles
• Growing proficiency with AutoCAD
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Produce organized, accurate and professional work products
• Ability to work independently and in small groups
• Ability to manage, prioritize and meet schedule requirements for multiple projects/tasks
