    As the Office Assistant at Primrose School of Andover, you will help deliver the school's mission: creating a safe, nurturing environment for young minds to explore, discover, and understand the world around them.

    We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Office Assistant (full-time, 9AM-5:30PM)  to assist in helping maintain our professional environment and the smooth operation of our school. 

    Primrose School of Andover is a private preschool that provides a premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for Infants through Kindergarten.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Greets every family, child, and staff member in a positive and welcoming manner
    • Answers phones in a professional and courteous manner
    • Supports the Leadership Team in classroom requests such as bathroom breaks, temperature checks, and supply needs
    • Assists in daily class functions of a group of children upon request and business needs, such as covering classroom teacher lunch breaks when needed
    • Data entry involving confidential child and family information
    • Maintenance of building supply closets, paper/office supplies, and laundry room
    • Prepares and maintains new family enrollment packets and prospective family tour packets
    • Supports the Leadership Team in helping schedule appointments and reaching out to prospective families
    • Assists in always maintaining a clean and presentable building
    • Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Andover and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children
    • Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary
    Desired skills and experience:

    • Must meet basic background check requirements
    • Previous office experience required
    • Previous experience working with children preferred
    • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situation
    • Must be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
    Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
