The Chief of Staff provides high-level strategic and administrative support to the Elected Assessor and the Chief Deputy Assessor. This role is responsible for coordinating public education efforts, advancing legislative priorities, maintaining key political and community relationships, and leading special projects.
The Chief of Staff must be an exceptional written and verbal communicator with the ability to influence, build trust, and demonstrate courage in an environment undergoing cultural and operational transformation. This position will be critical in organizational goal setting, strategic planning, and the alignment and coordination of multiple workgroups across the office.

Selection Procedure - Maricopa County
The Maricopa County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates considered to be the most highly qualified.
