Chemical Cleaning Technician,

We are seeking Chemical Cleaning Technician to support the cleaning and inspection of precision-manufactured components. This is an entry-level opportunity with full on-the-job training provided.

The position works in a wet/chemical manufacturing environment and involves cleaning parts using acid-based chemistries, including diluted hydrofluoric acid (HF) and nitric acid (HNO). Safety, attention to detail, and consistent use of required PPE are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final cleaning of manufactured parts according to established procedures.
• Work with acid-based cleaning solutions while following all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Receive and verify job travelers and production documentation.
• Inspect parts before and after cleaning for defects, contamination, damage, or labeling discrepancies.
• Enter completed production activity into a computerized tracking system.
• Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with unboxing, packaging, and sealing finished parts.
• Safely lift, carry, and handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Follow daily assignments and instructions from production leadership.

Qualifications

• No previous manufacturing experience required; training is provided.
• Basic English sufficient to understand work instructions and safety signage.
• Basic computer/data-entry skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to flag quality issues.
• Comfortable working in a wet/chemical environment while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs during the shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.

Work Environment

This position involves direct work with acid-based cleaning chemistries. Required PPE may include a lab coat, safety glasses, face shield, chemical-resistant apron, and gloves. The work is primarily performed while standing and walking and involves repetitive material handling.

Training Provided

Training includes chemical and workplace safety, washing procedures, proper gowning and PPE, quality requirements, and use of the production tracking system.
